This index presents historical and modern wars and conflicts taking place in the present territory of, or relating to, Cameroon. French Cameroun achieved independence from France in 1960 while British Southern Cameroons achieved independence in 1961 and the two states united united. The territory had been part of German colony of Kamerun from 1884 to 1918 before being divided between Fance and UK.
