Turkish Reoccupation of Serbia 1813

After being granted limited autonomy in 1806...internal discord weakened the government of Karadjordje [in Serbia], and the French invasion of Russia in 1812 prevented the tsar from protecting the Serbs. In 1813 the Turks attacked rebel areas. Karadjordje fled to Hungary, then Turkish, Bosnian, and Albanian troops plundered Serbian villages.
