Buraimi Oasis Dispute 1952-1955

In 1952 British forces intervened on behalf of Muscat and Oman against Saudi Arabian forces that had taken the disputed Buraimi Oasis (October).

In 1955 Saudi Arabian forces were driven from the disputed Buraimi Oasis by British forces aiding rival claimants Muscat and Oman (October 26).
