Index of Wars and Conflicts relating to Switzerland

This index presents historical and modern wars and conflicts taking place in the present territory of, or relating to, Switzerland. The Swiss Confederation was founded in 1291 and achieved independence from the Holy Roman Empire in 1499. The sovereignty and neutrality of the territory has been honored by the major European powers.
